ALL CURRENT ACTIVE NYSPHSAA OFFICIALS MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE NFHS/NYSPHSAA 26-27 (NYSCOS) RECERTIFICATION TEST.
ALL NCSOA MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS STEP BY NO LATER THAN AUGUST 14th.
BEGINNING 26-27, NO RECERTIFICATION WILL BE DONE VIA DRAGONFLY. ONLY THE STATE ASSOCIATION (NYSCOS) AUTHORIZED TEST WILL BE USED FOR NFHS/NYSPHSAA RECERTIFICATION.

TAKING THE ONLINE EXAM (Recertification)

The State Association (NYSCOS) will NOT register any official who has NOT taken the test AND scored a passing grade:
- 85% or greater REQUIRED for VARSITY officials to officiate for NCSOA (Fall '26)
- 75% or greater REQUIRED for JV/Modified officials to officiate for NCSOA (Fall '26)
Once submitted, you will NOT need to confirm your score to NCSOA, or provide a screenshot, etc. With new testing procedure, NCSOA will be able to view your scores on a periodic basis.
IF you are a DUAL Official (Nassau BOYS & Nassau GIRLS) or also officiate NYSPHSAA for other NYSCOS recognized Sections (i.e. NYC, Section XI/Suffolk), and Nassau BOYS is your primary association, and for whom you submit your test (Local Board), you will need to advise your other associations to contact us to confirm your score. That request MUST be submitted to NCSOA via email (ONLY) to: Nassau BOYS Soccer Officials
